MWIA Courtesy Call to Minister of Plantation and Commodities
A courtesy call was made to the Minister of Plantation and Commodities, YAB Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof on 23rd February 2023. The brief meeting took place at the Deputy Prime Minister office in the Malaysia Parliament House. Among the topic discussed were the challenges in raw material supply, carbon trading, community farming, use of certified timber in government procurement policy, EUDR as well as industrial tree plantation programme.
YAB Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof briefed by representative from MWIA regarding the current timber related issues.
