MWIA Youth Visit to Jawala Plantation Industries S/B
MWIA Youth Group visited Jawala Plantation Industries S/B on 1st - 3rd October 2022, in Sapulut, Sabah. The objective of the visit is to learn the management practices of industrial tree plantation in compliance with forest certification. The group has visited compartments planted with Laran (Neolamarckia cadamba) of different age, and to the nursery to observe the process of transplanting and acclimation of seedlings. A tree planting event has also been carried out. Overall, the educative and technical visit was an eye-opening experience to the Youth Group.
