MWIA Workshop on Malaysian Wood Species Identification Course
MWIA Workshop on Malaysian Wood Species Identification Course was successfully conducted from 13th - 15th May 2024 at WISDEC [Wood Industry Skills Development Centre]. During the 3-day course, participants were taught the wood anatomy, physical and mechanical properties of wood, various types of wood classification as well as how to identify various species of Malaysian timber. Participants sat for a short test at the end of the course. It was an interactive and engaging session among the participants and MTIB instructors.
Participants were observing the wood anatomy by using 10x eye lens.
